  1. I find it difficult to understand why Claire speaks English with some ‘Estuary’ pronunciations instead of a 1940 Upper Class Accent. Words such as ‘needle’ spoken as ‘needull’ and ‘gentlemen’ spoken as gentoomen. These are 21stC ways of speech.
