    • In English it’s “Adam,” but he prefers the Gaelic pronunciation which is basically “Ah-give.” One more segment, the final one, coming next week, and we talk about that 🙂 Thanks for writing!

      • Thanks so much for clarifying the pronunciation of Adhamh’s name. I have to admit that Gaelic must be the world’s hardest language to pronounce phonetically! How they get Ah-give out of Adhamh is beyond me!

I look forward to all your links; your website is wonderful!

        • Adhamh says it’s really easy once you learn the sounds that each letter/group of letters make(s). But, on first glance it’s certainly not like Spanish, for which you can just sound out the words! In the next/last segment, we actually talk about the spelling of his name and how you get the Gaelic pronunciation out of that spelling. So, you’re right on track Connie! 🙂 I’m so glad you’re enjoying the site and the content, that makes me really happy. Take care –Courtney

    • Hi Connie, I’m really glad you’re enjoying them! There is one more segment with Adhamh, and then I will publish the full interview, which has a few extra bits in it. And then that’s it for Adhamh for now. More interviews coming, and you are welcome (and encouraged) to let me know who you’d like to see/hear from. Thanks for your comments. –Courtney
