  1. I’m verra excited but also apprehensive, Voyager , is a major book in so many ways. I have fears that , a lot may have been left out. I understand that everyone, is beyond excited for the Print Shop, but I think the emotional side is the most important part. Their humor and love and passion and fear hopefully will be there in a big way.

      • So glad the date is set!! Can’t wait for the season to start!! My books are tattered and worn and my dvds are are wearing! My husband’s nerves are frazzled and so are mine ! Come on 9/10!!! ;-D

  2. I am so looking forward to seeing “Voyager”, to come to life and I know that , it will be amazing. I just hope that , J & C’s emotional reunion is at the heart of the story. Everyone is so looking forward to the “Print Shop” scene ( and don’t get me wrong I want it too), I just feel that the whole book is about them reuniting emotionally , as, well the physical side. It is in my opinion it’s the most important book in the series. Thank you for reading.

  3. I am so excited !! All will be worth any wait?I seen so many new pictures of Romman grown so tall and handsome- I will miss him and I think with a little age make-up he could easily have played older Fergus and even with the subject matter I think he would have been amazing!! I hope they use him later in another episode?

    • I’ll miss young Fergus, too. But the Fergus in Voyager is in his early 30’s. That role needs a more mature actor. I think a difference in 10 years he could have accomplished, but this is a 20-year time span. That’s a major change. However, if they show the flashback scenes of Jamie’s time in the cave, that Fergus should be played by the original Fergus. Do we know that he’s not in the early scenes in Voyager?

      • That Fergus loses his hand is integral to much of Fergus’ story in later books, so likely we would see younger Fergus again, I would think. That scene certainly will be rough, no matter how they play it. I remember Diana saying at some point that one theme of the entire series is war. A related theme is the evils of colonization/ occupation and the de-humanizing of those colonized that makes colonization possible. I don’t recall if “This is their land and we are occupying it” was in Outlander or just the show, but that sort of says it all, doesn’t it. So much of this story reminds me of Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.

On an unrelated note, does Cait look odd in the 9/10 “poster”? To me, her profile is off.

          • Thank you, Colleen! I knew I was not imagining things! Cait is gorgeous as is. I barely recognized her in that still. In the video version of same, she looks like herself as she walks up to the stone, and then ooops! Mouth is different, nose is different. What the …??

I agree about the hair too. Her hair in the 60s scenes in S2, Ep 13 was also quite severely straightened (which might have been a relief for the actress, whose natural hair is straight as a stick)… I wonder if they have made her look so stiff and tightly wound in the 60s to reinforce how increasingly unhappy she was. In the book, right before he dies, Frank announces he’s taking late-teens (?) Bree back to England without her. Things just went from bad to worse between them!

  4. Yes! Extremely happy knowing the beginning of Season 3 of Outlander! I can barely contain myself! Everything that I have read, tells this will be extraordinary! I loved both Season 1 & Season 2. The cast, crew, directors & producers outdo themselves!
    Thank you!

  5. Yay! Only problem is 4 of our group (me too) will return from Scotland on that day, and may (may) be too tired to watch right away.

  6. And where to view in Finland, please. I subscibed to Amazon Prime specifically for Outlander but can’t access it here. Thanks so much. You do a great job for us.

  7. Hi, I’m so excited… can’t wait!!! I just wish I had a friend with whom I could share my excitement with! Since Outlander is not aired here in Malta (Europe) few people know about it, and I have yet to meet a Maltese person who actually read the books and watched the show!! I watched season 1 and 2 on Netflix and I just hope that season 3 will return on Netflix again. Do you have a clue whether it will be available?

I congratulate all the producers, writers, and actors/actresses for this wonderful drama. It brings Diana’s writing to life and both Cait & Sam are amazing. Congrats to all and keep up the excellent work. Well done.

  8. Finished DOA for the third time and I still noticed things I didn’t remember from previous readings. Then started videos from Season 1 and have just finished from Both Sides Now. I am hopelessly addicted to these books and TV series.
