John Bell & Lauren Lyle with Outlander Kitchen’s Theresa Carle-Sanders

Here is the next installment in the End of Summer Series Outlander producer Maril Davis is running to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. This one features adorable Lauren Lyle and John Bell, learning from their homes how to cook a delicious Outlander inspired recipe with Outlander Kitchen author Theresa Carle-Sanders. Do you guys have these cookbooks? I need them! My mouth is watering.

Enjoy, and if you’d like to donate to help the heroes on the front lines, Click Here: Donate to Drs Without Borders

Outlander Season 5 blu-ray and DVD will be out on Sept. 15, which means (I hope) we’ll see the Season 5 Gag reels soon! Click here to see the Season 4 Gag reel.

For Droughtlander material, of course, reread the books, catch up on our Seasons 4 and 5 Episode Discussions, and/ or visit Reader Favorites.

  1. Dear Courtney,

Thanks so much as always for sending the links. We need them during Droughtlander for sure!
    Best wishes,
    Mandy

  2. Lots of views for the end of summer series… but not alot of donations! Please step up folks.. if everyone could just drop in a dollar?

  3. Ummm, I have a piece of halibut I think I shall fry up that way with some red potato fries! Thanks for the respite from Draughtlander! Young Ian and Marsali are always a joy!

  4. Actually, it turned out good, was very crispy, but as much as I like a good cocktail, I could taste the vodka in the batter and it was a little off-putting. Next time I think maybe just beer in the batter!

    • That’s good to know! We have some pretty good gluten free beer that we can add, and then it’ll remain gluten free as well (theoretically). Thanks Suzie, I hope you guys are well. xo

  5. We get out several times a day here in Fort Bragg on the coastal trails to walk the dog and I have been on Noom for over a year now and have lost 37 pounds since you saw me in NOLA! I had to take in my kilt!!! Think about you often there in Colorado and pray you and your family stay safe. Too many tourists think there’s no pandemic going on! Very discouraging. But we keep our distance and wear our masks! xo

    • Congratulations Suzie! That is fantastic!!

It’s a weird time right now, to be sure. And we have very smokey air again today, not sure from which fire. I hope there’s not a new one. We are all just doing our best to be safe and take good care of us and those around us. I’m sure you are doing the same.

      Sending lots of love,

      xo

  6. Yes! And then there’s the fires on top of everything else. Doing our best to stay healthy. I’ve been talking to Antoinette a lot lately commiserating with her about the state of affairs. I love that she’s so vocal! Miss all of you gals so much. Lots of love to you too! xo

  7. This episode was SO enjoyable and fun !!!! Both Lauren and John have such great personalities. Lauren must be quit the chef, as she asked great questions !!! Iwas out of town and missed the other two. What would we do without You Tube !! LOL…Love this past episode with Bear…..he is amazing, and I learned so much more details about the music. Looking forward to this Sunday !!
