OutlanderBTS What’s New ~ Outlander Behind The Scenes Gets A Makeover!

Hello All, I hope this post finds you happy and well. It is my pleasure to announce that my wee blog has just surpassed THREE MILLION views. Yep. In less than 3 years. Outlander Behind The Scenes is used by people in 186 of the world’s 195 countries, and over a million of those views are from different users. What? I have learned from one Sam Heughan, that it’s not only OK to be openly gorgeous and killing it, it’s OK to promote ourselves and celebrate our successes publicly! ? Thank you Sam. And thank you, to all my readers and watchers, to my discussion group, to those whom I have interviewed, to the folks at Sony and Starz for giving me opportunities, to my BTS team of supporters and tech folks, to my wonderful content distributors, my beloved Patrons, and most of all, to my husband and family, and to Herself, for the inspiration and ongoing support.

There’s a heck of a lot of good content on Outlanderbts.com, and I wanted to make it easier for you guys to actually get to it. So, I have reorganized the blog into main sections of content, which you can find on the top navigation bar; new features include: Episode Discussions – Catherine, Antoinette, Karmen and me, (look for new installments over Droughtlander), Interviews – these are my interviews with Outlander cast and crew members (I am working on editing and producing two new ones now), and Reader Favorites – these are popular posts from over the years, separated into sections, with access to still more posts at the bottom of each section. I hope you will visit, hang out for a while, and please give me your feedback, I love that!

More updates soon… xo

  1. Love your top photos . My own trip to Scotland included those 3 essential locations, and was not disappointed!!!!… now if I could just happen across Sam and Cait, my Outlander wish list would be complete. Meanwhile- Really enjoy your site- your conversations with Karmen in particular ( from a kindred spirit and likeminded, educated and hope to be wise woman) .

      • Your the best! Taking the time to to give the fandom such great insight, and updating us on all things Outlander is greatly appreciated. I certainly look forward to more during the dreaded droughtlander. Congratulations on 3 million!!! Thanks again.

  2. I think I have told you before how much I enjoy your blog,Courtney.
I am lucky enough to live in Glasgow and very near some of the locations..
I do not know anyone personally who is interested in Outlander, can you believe that ?I feel I have new friends online and hope to meet some of them later in the year.
I have managed to ‘convert’ my daughter-in-law and one other younger friend .. I think they secretly think I am a wee bit nuts at my advanced age having such a ‘crush’ on Sam/Jamie and the whole Outlander package..I love your Episode discussions with mature, professional women who are also fans..makes me feel comfortable. Keep up the good work ,it is much appreciated.???

    • I also live in Scotland. I first found Crosstitch in Newton Mearns library in the early 1990s and have been a devoted fan ever since. I have all the books in hardback and also on my kindle.
Am now in my early 70s and can only hope that I live long enough to read the whole series!
I am thrilled that Outlander is filmed in the studios at Cambuslang.
