A Special Patron Thank You, Dinner with David Berry…

Hi All,

I am very grateful for the opportunity to write and do interviews for this blog, and it would not be possible without my wonderful Patrons – readers who choose to support my work through monetary contributions.

I have one Silver Ticket – (a $300 value) to the Novel Adventures “Ceilidh on The Ridge” dinner with David Berry (Lord John Grey), for Jul 14, at 6:00 PM that I am giving away to a lucky Patron. If you are able to attend (you will need to cover travel and lodging costs), please respond to me in the comments below. Only Patrons of Outlander Behind The Scenes are eligible to enter. First come, first serve.

Thank you for your support!

  1. I have reservations to camp at the Grandfather Mountain Scottish Highland Games, arriving July 11 and staying through the 16th and would LOVE to be able to attend the Ceilidh on The Ridge! Each year, I look at the Novel Adventures schedule (AND PRICES) and it is sadly out of my price range. I’m at avid Outland book(s) and Show fan with great pride to be of Scottish heritage. I’ve got my figures crossed to receive this wonderful prize!

  2. Sadly, I cannot make the event, no matter how much I enjoy David Berry : ), but I wanted to thank you for such an incredible offer. I love reading your blog. Keep up the good work!

    • Aww, you’re welcome Regina, and thank you for being a Patron!! I’d love nothing more than to give it to you ?.

PS did you do your tour w Steve? I want to hear about it!

      • We did! We just returned in fact from Edinburgh which was absolutely beautiful and we had the most incredible weather: sunny every day, which is most unusual. We took two one-day tours with Steve and they were fantastic. He knows just about everything there is to know about Scotland and Outlander. Thank you so much for the recommendation, it was a highlight of our holiday.

        • Haha, I wish! It is Steve McLeish who is the tour guide for Outlandish Journeys. He is incredibly knowledgeable and sometimes just as funny as Steve McCree!

  3. That is a heavenly offer! I am not able to participate – but thank you for the invite anyway. I love reading your blog – top quality.

  4. I live in NC but can’t afford the ticket, hotel, gas, and meals but would love to enter to win the free ticket. I would be going on my own. Since David Barry has been in Outlander I have ordered the LJG series but am still reading Outlander series,. I’m on An Echo in the Bone. I am 67 and on a budget that doesn’t cover anything I want to do Outlander. I would like everyone in the Outlander series, the cast and the crew, to know that there are many more fans out there that love what Starz has done and how much we love the series. I have also watched David Barry on Brit Box and Acorn, he is a very fine actor.
    Thank you in advance.

    • Glad yo say I m now a patron and look forward to news, opportunities from the caliber of your blog. This is all new to me and I am excited to know more. Thank you.

  5. Unfortunately wouldn’t be able to make it. Thank you so much for everything you do. I always look forward to your posts. Happy to be a patron and will continue to support.

  6. I’m now a patron and if I win the Silver ticket, I will invite my sister to attend. I have a ticket and wish she could afford one for herself. She cant unfortunately…
